I read somewhere that she tried to write that story but it just didn’t work. That and the fact that Daisy did not end with Cam. Her contemporary novels were one of my disappointments in my nearly forty years reading this genre. Well, and to the majority of her contemporaries as well. I gave 1-star and 2-star reviews to several of her oldies. Yes, I think her work does holds up, except a few of the first novels which are very boring.
